Our mission is to provide a safe and fun outdoor hiking club for kids ages 8-17 who would otherwise not be able to explore the outdoors and get them out on the trails.Take-A-Hike is working with kids from inner cities, special needs children, as well as with orphanages and hospitals. The benefits these young adults receive from exploring nature are endless.
OUR PROGRAMS
After-School Hikes
Our after-school hiking program provides youth with safe outdoor adventures that foster physical health , comm- unication ,teamwork, leadership, and a deep appreciation for nature.
Weekend Expeditions
Our weekend hikes allow children and families to disconnect from screens, explore local trails, build confidence, networking and connect through guided outdoor experiences.
Leadership
Through active group challenges, trail navigation, and outdoor skill building, participants develop essential leadership, clear communication, and teamwork abilities.
Community
Our active community partners and dedicated volunteers work together to create outdoor growth opportunities for youth while promoting inclusion and environmental stewardship.
